Local Food and Drink

Venus Supermarket (Leeds)

67 Domestic St, Leeds LS11 9NS, UK – 0113 234 1511

Me and work colleagues give this place a visit at least once a week over other local pubs and call this our 'Turkish Thursdays'. Great food, the grilled fish and the lamb ribs are always recommended. Quality of the food is excellent and they had the right amount of spices and seasoning to everything. The accompanying Turkish bread is also a bonus as I tend to carb overload with glee using it to mop up the sauces. Just give the place a visit, you won't regret the food.

Amazing Turkish supermarket, with an amazing kebab house bolted onto it. The kebabs are superb!!! Pastries and olives are fantastic...well worth a visit...

Kashmir Supermarket

257 Dewsbury Rd, Leeds LS11 5HZ, UK – 0113 271 1505

All food necessities, good prices and fresh meat. Good quality homeware small section but good quality.

Very good pakistani grocer, halal meat and asian vegetable shop. The place is a bit cramed, but the vegetables and meat are very fresh. Have a free car park as well and I have always found space.

Asda Living Leeds

Crown Point Shopping Park, Junction St, Leeds LS10 1ET, UK – 0113 386 8100

Love my local Asda Living. So much more choice than an Asda superstore for ladies and children's clothing and you can top up on your toiletries while you are there. Prices are excellent as well. My go to product every year are the school uniforms for my grandsons, excellent range, quality for money and all sizes, colours and styles.

Really very good store with lots of items I buy. I particularly liked the phone shop upstairs. Knowledgeable chap there.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for West Yorkshire showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
The Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Company was established 26 years ago when the Smith family returned from India, where for two generations we had been involved with tea. The website contains information about all the different teas and coffees supplied together with regular updates on new additions to the range.
